Education is the most important ingredient in the life of a human being that empowers one with civility, etiquette, culture, knowledge, skill, employability and overall enlightenment  enabling everyone to grow and contribute to the growth of society and nation. In a knowledge driven world of today, education and skill in right proportion has the capability to transform a nation from under development to its zenith as a developed country. Considering transformative education as the most important vehicle for bringing changes in society, the empowerment of youth with holistic education, multitasking skills and industry demand driven curriculum is an essential need of the hour for employability. Realizing this important gap in Indian education system, the Ministry of Education (Govt. of India) has brought ground breaking changes to transform the education landscape of the country creating a National Curriculum Framework (NCF) under National Education Policy (NEP-2020) and implemented it across the country on July 29, 2020.

IIT Patna Senate adopted the NEP-2020 and started implementing it in letter and spirit. The first step towards it is marked by commencement of hybrid UG program  in streams of Computer Science and Business Management since July 2023 by creating a dedicated entity "Center for Educational Technology (CET)" to disseminate quality and industry demand driven skill based education without barriers making it affordable for all who need it.  CET is a center equipped with technology enabled platform for imparting education at affordable cost with innovative pedagogy, to enable the youth build their future and move forward in their career with upward trajectory.
